My Personal Chef Service: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Initial Consultation & Kitchen Tour:
We begin with an in-home consultation to understand your unique culinary needs. We'll complete an in-depth food questionnaire, discussing:
Dietary restrictions and allergies
Favorite and least favorite foods
Personal health and wellness goals
The ideal service type for your lifestyle
2. Menu Planning & Grocery List:
You'll receive your personalized menu via email 2-3 days before your scheduled cook day. The day before shopping, I'll send you my grocery list. You can then mark off any ingredients you already have on hand to help reduce your grocery expenses.
3. Cook Day:
On the morning of your scheduled cook day, I'll arrive at your home fully equipped to prepare your meals. I’ll utilize your kitchen basics and equipment, bringing any specialized culinary items or tools as needed. Cooking sessions typically range from 3 to 6 hours, depending on your chosen meal plan or service.
4. Meal Packaging & Kitchen Cleanup:
Once prepared, your individual meals are packaged in oven-safe containers (included with service), clearly labeled, and neatly organized in your refrigerator or freezer. I will provide detailed reheating instructions (or assembly instructions if required). Before I leave, your kitchen will be left clean: all surfaces sanitized, dishes hand-washed and put away, appliances wiped down, floors swept and mopped (if necessary), and trash removed.
